As I was building / designing my experimental phoenix 2000 I wanted to get a feel for the plane that is with out a large investment.
As I had worked for Grumman on DARPA's X-29 forward swept wing plane. I new what I had to do.
- DESIGN AIRFRAME PIE in the SKY or my wish list.
- Get an aerodynamicist on board
- Start writing a SIM in C on my SUN Microsystems 3/80 (MOT 68000)
- Interface controls, engine, control surfaces, etc. to the computers

- My C Sim flew from DFW to LAX with out crashing.... ya....
